In reality, our beloved peppermint has found a new companion in the form of tropical lemongrass.

The secret to the high quality of our peppermint tea is ecologically grown peppermint in Estonia, a large quantity of peppermint leaves separated from the stems, the right harvesting time, and drying temperature.

Did you know that an organic product doesn't just mean tea grown and produced without chemicals? In fact, organically grown peppermint offers a much richer flavor profile. Põhjala Teetalu peppermint is harvested from the field at precisely the right time and dried at the exact right temperature, resulting in a high menthol content in our tea blend.

We manually remove all the plant stems from the tea blend (which make the tea taste bitter and astringent) to ensure that your tea contains as many peppermint leaves as possible, guaranteeing a high-quality, supportive, and aromatic flavor experience.

We crush the peppermint leaves just before packaging to prevent the loss of essential oils and the dissipation of peppermint flavor.
